1 Who We Are

Yuni ("Yuni", "we", "us", or "our") is an analytics service that helps Etsy sellers understand their listing performance by comparing them against similar listings in Etsy search results. We operate at goyuni.com.

2 Information We Collect

Account information. When you register, we collect your name and email address. If you pay for a subscription, billing details (card information) are handled directly by our payment processor, Stripe — we never see or store your full card number.

Etsy OAuth data. To connect your shop, you authorize Yuni through the official Etsy OAuth 2.0 flow. We store an access token that grants us the following read-only permissions:

• Read your public shop and listing details (title, tags, images, price, description)
• Read basic shop metrics (listing count, sales count, reviews) that are publicly visible on Etsy

We do not request and do not have access to your orders, buyer information, messages, financial data, or any write permissions. We never modify your shop or listings.

Listing and keyword data you provide. When you choose which listings and keywords to track, we store that selection and the analysis results we generate for you.

Etsy search result data. To generate reports, we collect publicly visible Etsy search result pages (SERPs) for the keywords you track. This data includes information about competitor listings that appear in those results — all of it is publicly available on Etsy.

Usage data. We collect standard logs including IP addresses, browser type, pages visited, and feature interactions. This helps us diagnose issues and improve the product.

3 How We Use Your Information

• To provide the service — pulling your listing data, running analysis, generating reports, and displaying them in your dashboard.
• To communicate with you — sending account confirmations, subscription receipts, and occasional product updates. You can opt out of marketing emails at any time.
• To maintain and improve the service — diagnosing bugs, improving algorithms, and understanding which features are most useful.
• To enforce our Terms of Service — detecting and preventing abuse or misuse.

We do not use your data to train AI models sold to third parties, and we do not build advertising profiles.

4 Sharing Your Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We share data only in the following limited circumstances:

• Service providers. We use third-party vendors to host infrastructure, process payments (Stripe), and collect aggregate analytics. These providers are contractually bound to process data only on our behalf.
• Legal requirements. We may disclose data if required by law, court order, or government authority.
• Business transfer. If Yuni is acquired or merges with another entity, your data may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you beforehand.

5 Data Retention

We retain your account data and analysis history for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription or close your account, we delete your personal data and Etsy OAuth tokens within 30 days. Aggregated, anonymized analytics data (which cannot be linked back to you) may be retained indefinitely to improve our models.

6 Data Security

We protect your data using industry-standard practices:

• All data transmitted between your browser and our servers is encrypted using TLS/HTTPS.
• Data at rest is encrypted using AES-256.
• Etsy OAuth tokens are stored encrypted and are never exposed in logs or error messages.
• Access to production systems is restricted to authorized personnel and protected by multi-factor authentication.

No system is completely secure. If we become aware of a breach that affects your personal data, we will notify you within 72 hours as required by applicable law.

7 Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you.
• Correction — ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Deletion — request that we delete your account and personal data.
• Data portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format.
• Objection — object to certain processing activities (e.g., marketing emails).
• Withdrawal of consent — disconnect your Etsy account at any time from your dashboard settings, which revokes our access token.

If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

8 Cookies

We don't use cookies.

9 Children's Privacy

Yuni is not intended for individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

10 Third-Party Links

Our service may contain links to third-party websites, including Etsy.com. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites and encourage you to review their privacy policies separately. Yuni is not affiliated with Etsy, Inc.

11 Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email or via a prominent notice in the app at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the service after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
